Στο πλαίσιο του Athens Photo Festival οργανώνεται η έκθεση Photgraphy as performance, που θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις 14/6/2017 και ώρα 21:00, στο μουσείο Μπενάκη (κτήριο οδού Πειραιώς).

Φέτος συμπληρώνονται 8 χρόνια διεξαγωγής της έκθεσης Photgraphy as performance, ως εκ τούτου η παρούσα εκδοχή θα έχει αναδρομικό χαρακτήρα. Οι δράσεις με τίτλο “Επιτελεστικές διαδρομές” βασίζονται σε επιτελέσεις που παραγματοποήθηκαν σε παλαιότερες εκδοχές της έκθεσης μόνο που θα επαναληφθούν σε μεγαλύτερη κλίμακα.

“ Ο κύκλος των επιτελέσεων-περφόρμανς στο πλαίσιο του Athens Photo Festival, ο οποίος ξεκίνησε το 2009, αποτελεί μια ευκαιρία για δοκιμές και δοκιμασίες, μια σύνθεση μεταβαλλόμενων σχέσεων, μια μελέτη για το πώς μια τέχνη μεταξύ ζωής και εικαστικού στοιχείου (επιτέλεση) και μια τέχνη κυρίως οπτική και εικαστική (φωτογραφία) μπορούν να διασταυρωθούν για να παραγάγουν ενδιαφέροντα υβρίδια. Οι συλλογικές και οι ατομικές επιτελέσεις είναι αφιερωμένες στο να διερευνήσουν το πώς το δισδιάστατο και το στιγμιαίο της φωτογραφίας λειτουργεί παράλληλα ως αφετηρία συζεύξεων και ανατροπών.”

Photgraphy as performance 2017

In the context of Athens Photo Festival is curated the exhbition Photography as Performnce that will take place on 14/6/2017 at 21:00 in Benaki Museum (Pirews street). This year are completed 8 years prosecution of the exhibition Photgraphy as performance, thus the present version is a retroscpect tribute. Actions under the title of “Flashback routes”, are based on performances that presented in past editions of the exhbition but they will be reperformed in large scale.

“The circle of performances in the context of Athens Photo Festival, that began since 2009, constitutes an opportunity for trials and challenges, one composition of tranformed releationships, a study about how an art between life and visual element (performance) and an art optical and visual mainly (photography) can cross each other in order to produce instersting hybrids. Collective and individual performances are dedicated to research the two-dimantional and instant of photography is setted as the beginning of splices and reversals”
